    On the Rocks revival

Great, look forward to it!  I’m a NYC resident on lockdown up in the Adirondacks, and am running out of projects around the house.  I’m about ready to turn to drinking, and you can help…!  Joking of course (about the drinking).

p.s. Liked your video chat with Art. I’ve been to Antarctica and Iceland (small group trip) with him…. such a nice guy.

    Cheers

    Kevin,

I always enjoyed your On the Rocks videos.  Three guys drinking bourbon and talking photo gear and trends, with some hard rock music to kick things off in the opening credits… what could be better!  If possible, it might be fun to make a new one executed over Skype or other video service while we’re all locked down.  I’d gladly pour a bourbon and watch along!

    Just an idea….

Kevin, I’m so sorry for your and Debra’s loss.  Your article was a wonderful tribute to your father in law and your amazing relationship with him.  You were very lucky to have him in your life.  I hope the pain eases soon and you can focus on the good memories.  Best, Will Lee

    David,

Really good article, I enjoyed it very much.  I owned a Phase One IQ180 for several years. As a landscape photographer, I loved some aspects of it (the resolution and the color quality), I found other aspects burdensome (not weather-proof, weight, bulky/unwieldy, generally needed slow shutter speeds, and sometimes I couldn’t get the color right). I finally sold it at a huge financial loss due to depreciation and am now using full frame.  I’ve wondered if I would ever go back to medium format… I miss the quality but not the other negative aspects. Sounds like the Fuji might be a great solution.  So again, thank you for sharing your journey.
