    Cameras, Lenses and Shooting Gear
    on: July 23, 2021 at 2:05 pm

    Hi:

Has anybody shot stills and video with th R5 in an underwater housing?

I´d like to know if there´s been any issues with foggy domes, specially when shooting video, due to the internal heat of the camera, wich should be worse in cold water due to the temperature difference.

    Have a good time

I´m for the uncroped one. It gives more ambience and sets you right in the place feeling the inmensity surrounding you. With the small zodiac under the iceberg I think you´ll still percive the hugh mass even with a wider shot.

    It´s a really nice photograph

I´ve been facing the same problem for quite a few years, and I´m still stuck with LR-6 perpetual.

It keeps me out of C-1 as I´m a bit tired of using more and more software that doesn´t speak to one another.

I´m frequently answered that I can have as many catalogs as I need in C-1, but I do browse pictures in my entire LR catalog by keywords and it´s really a pain to be browsing in many catalogs and then extracting all that images to have them together until I have the job done, then set it all again back to the origin.

I still don´t understand why C-1 has not take the time to do some kind of capable catalog yet.

A software intended for professionals and advanced amateurs will often deal with more than 100.000 images. Many more if you work in stock. No efforts are put in this, just in new features that seem to give the program more glamour.

Some software is doing it refering to the main catalog in your computer HD with thumbnails and accepting hyerarquical words

Hi, besides all that was said above, you might consider waiting a bit as canon is preparing a new camera around 80 or 90 Mpx and, if you plan to stay with Sony, most probably there will be a response, probably an A7RV, by the end of the year. Just imagine if it keeps most of the capabilities of the A-1 but on 90 Mpx. It might fit all your needs in one body.

That little piece of ice melting slowly in the water may not seem a big deal, but it once, in forms of tons of ice and snow, wounded the rock badly leaving traces of the wounds it performed. Then it will come again in future seasons, when it starts to snow again on a new attack in an endless and old game.

That´s what came to my mind with tour image, a bit dark on the rock side as seen in my laptop screen wich is not calibrated.

    I´ve really enjoiyed it.
