Hi Kevin, the Hahnemühle website does not have an ICC profile for Photo Rag® Baryta on the Epson ET-8550. The website does have it for other Epson printers, including for the P700 and P900. Which ICC profile should I use to print on this paper on the Epson ET-8550 using either EPL or Capture One on a Mac? Thank you
Alessandro
Re: The Epson ET-8550 Printer ReviewReply #1 on: August 2, 2021 at 2:29 pmHi Kevin, thank you for the Epson ET-8550 printer review.
I remember your great article about the Epson PictureMate PM-400. How do you compare the prints from the ET8550 vs. the PM-400? Would you keep them both, or does the ET8550 make the PM-400 obsolete and/or not necessary?
Thank you

AlessandroRe: The New Epson P700 Overview – Print At HomeReply #3 on: September 8, 2020 at 4:01 pmThank you for the printing articles, Kevin. You are right: it is about the prints! I am going to give it another (3rd attempt) try 🙂
Two questions:
1) Given that a lot seems to be achievable by using the Epson Layout software and letting the printer to manage color, is Colorbyte’s ImagePrint an overkill then? For what type of printing and applications using this P700 printer does it make sense to use ImagePrint, if at all?
2) Before your article, I was thinking of getting a PictureMate 400 to let my wife and boys have some fun – they all enjoy a small Instax printer btw. As you make clear that getting the print is easy on this P700, does the PM400 add anything here, or could they just print the 4×6 / 5×7 on the P700?
Thank you!
