Thanks Kevin for the great shot. It make you wonder if investing in an expensive body is still justified (in case of non-professional photography). For example a sony a7 iv is already €3000, excluding lenses. That is about the price of a iphone 13 max pro AND a Macbook Pro. I’m a lucky guy to be able to use Adobe suite for only €20 a year
i find myself more and more in the situation where taking a whole setup is either a no-go or too much hassle and with your advertised apps I could probably make ‘Joel Tjintjelaar’ type of photos. Would nice if you could do an article on such an architect subject with iphones.
(fwiw, in the last few attempts of architecture photography in Rotterdam I got harassed by security people, even though I was on public ground, man they are paranoia these days. Hopefully a small setup with an iphone would make one less vulnerable in that respect than with a big setup)Re: Learning Street PhotographyReply #1 on: July 13, 2022 at 5:25 pm
To me it’s unbelievably ironic that in France, where Cartier-Bresson defined the street photography genre, it’s now impossible to make Henri’s kind of street photographs.

I did not have any issue doing proper street portraits and candids in Paris/Amsterdam/Brussels and Trier lately. The only thing I learned is to ASK and explain what you are doing, more than several years back. I even had a guy walking back through an alley just to help me. We shared emails and he was happy.
Sometimes a big camera actually helps. one thing I miss though is the old school rolleiflex that you could hide under your coat (we had a few of those at high school and it was fun to walk through my hometown back then)Re: Adobe Lightroom & Adobe Camera RawReply #2 on: June 16, 2022 at 5:48 pm
is it possible and how to create lens correction profiles for older lenses not in the LR classic lens correction?
