Ouch! That’s just rubbing it in.

(Wish I’d thought of it first)

monitor NEC MultiSync PA271W, which has served very well for many years, just said goodbye in the middle of calibrating and profiling

I apologize for reviving this thread, but I would like to ask if you recall how many hours you had on your PA271. I have a PA272 with over 32 thousand hours and I

can’t help wondering how long its going to last. Fortunately, I have an identical monitor, almost new, in storage.

    Thanks,

    Dale

I see blue banding in the neck as well as the beak.

I’ve only seen one Anhinga in my life, so I assumed it was a cormorant

which is common in my area.

    Thanks,

    Dale

Well seen! Took me some time to realize that the cormorant and the branch it’s sitting are almost the only objects in the scene that aren’t reflections.

Image feels like summer. I can feel the heat.

I also like the contrast of the verticals interrupted by by horizontals in a different zone.

The site is missing a bet in that it does not have a

way to donate more than the asking price.
