    Those are snail eggs. The Snail Kites and Gallinules feed on the snails.

    Some of the best Eagle shooting is in Washington State in the winter months. I get them out my back door an a fairly regular basis.

    Need a faster shutter speed…while they appear to fly nearly motionless, in reality, they are quite fast and quite agile. I rarely shoot one at less than 1/1200 and mostly at 1/2400 to 3200.

    It was a full afterburner turn that was in an ellipse of less than a half mile…the boy was cooking!
