    I see they are only for long-retired printer models, so maybe the newer models pose greater challenges for these 3rd-party alternatives. In any event, unless I knew the chemistry of these inks compared with that of Epson inks and I knew about how any differences of chemistry could eventually affect the printer and the longevity of the prints, personally I would stick with Epson inks.

    Hello Mark,

    with the HP Z3100 and the Epson 3880, I went back to the manufacturer’s inks, if only because of the manufacturer’s warranty.

    With my old Epson the manufacturer’s warranty had expired and there I just tried it and it worked very well for a few years :).

    Epson ET-14000 with Epson onboard CIS.
