The email that I received looks like it has undergone some revision as new information has become available.

Not a Mac user so I have no skin in this game. I will try the link here and you can judge for yourself if the article effects you or you work flow. Thanks for the heads up on links.

Not a Mac user so …

I’m running Big Sur on a 2019 MacBook Pro and a 2017 iMac – not having any problems with C1P-21.  The article in Michael linked to only talks about tethered operation via FireWire.  That’s odd because Apple retired FireWire years ago.  They use Thunderbolt as the marketing name for serial connectors.  Thunderbolt 3 is just USB-C with some performance advances.  So, I don’t know what to make of that article – but then, I don’t use C1 teathering.

What a difference one day makes!  There is already an update for C1P-21.  🙂  If you noticed the sluggishness of viewing the layer masks (especially the grayscale) – that’s fixed now.

At first glance, not much has changed. It has become noticeably faster and the dehaze regulator is nice. With the DAM, I would have liked to have made significant improvements. But maybe I have not yet recognized something deeper.
