“Capture One has become a new standard for RAW image processing”. That is your opinion. In my opinion DXO PL dwarfs the competition, as if DXO PL has any. ;-D

We’re all entitled to our opinions.  I’m pretty friendly with the folks at DXO.  I’ll be diving into DXO and possibly do an article and video on it.  Per, I always welcome articles and videos on a program like DXO if you want to take a crack at it.  I can’t cover everything myself.

I was just trying 2 b funny. 😀 I know Capture One is tremendous. Most softwares has something going for them. I like being able to use a RAW converter and postprocessing without having to subscribe. I left Lightroom in March for that reason. I now use DXO and ON1, and they really work great. DXO PL has a tremendous database for almost all kinds of cameras and lenses. A lot is autocorrected when importing. The Photolab 4 Deep Prime noise removal… Check it out! I am a complete amateur, so I better listen instead of telling.

    Hi Per,

yes Deep Prime is great. Also the RAW Converter is very good, but DAM functionality is not convincing.

I have heard that DXO PL is not the greatest when it comes to DAM. However, I think the most important aspect of a RAW converter is to convert RAW files. The rest is less important and can be managed in other ways. But I agree, DXO should improve the DAM function. The DXO feedback forum would be a good place to comment on this.

That would be really great! I am looking forward to an experts critical DXO dive. 😀
