Canon PPL option question

    Does any one know what “Contrast Reproduction” achieve in the Canon PPL? It is sort of a black box and support could not explain it to me. Do you use this option?

    Sounds like it handles sharpness based on the type of paper being used and the sharpness that is applied to a file prior to printing.

    Thanks, I just did a test and indeed, it adds a bit of sharpness
