A very interesting shot, Jeremy. How did you do it? Or is that a secret?

No secret, Russ, and I’m sorry to say nothing terribly clever either. A visiting six-year-old was playing with a bubble kit (aided by my wife), with some success, and I was playing with my new(ish) toy as well. The bubble was at the other side of the garden, maybe 30 feet away, and I had a 100-400 zoom at 400mm. I have to confess I hadn’t realised how well the reflection of the house looked until I saw the image on my Mac. At full resolution, and with a little imagination, you can even see a figure which looks as if it could be me, standing on the patio.

Bubble resolved. Unfortunately all my six-year-olds are in Colorado and I’m in Florida, so I’ll have to forego the pleasure of bubble shots. Damn.
